Fall is in the air!
The hayrides and apple cider for the kids. Romantic strolls in the park as the leaves change color for the adults. Fun costume parties…for everyone.
Let’s take a moment to savor it as we share a few ideas to get the most out of this fall:
GET OUTSIDE IN THE GORGEOUS FALL WEATHER
After months of summertime heat, the cool of fall is a welcome respite. Don’t you love when it’s warm enough to go jacket-less and cool enough to break out that pretty scarf in the evening? Plus, school football games are right around the corner!
In fact, even if you don’t have kids in school, head to a local game this fall. The community feeling as everyone huddles together over hot drinks, cheering on their local team is so much fun.
SAVOR YOUR LIFE’S ENDINGS AND NEW BEGINNINGS
Golden, amber, pumpkin, and cranberry … there’s no denying the beauty of fall leaves. Fall’s festival of color is a dreamy backdrop for all sorts of outside fun and indoor coziness.
On an even deeper level, the transition from fall to winter to spring teaches us about birth and new life. The earth has a gorgeous way of turning in seasons and cycles. Even as the leaves are ablaze in their final days, and then shed and die in the winter, there’s a wonderful hope of new life, new joy and new color again in the fall.
ENJOY THE HOLIDAYS
Fall boasts two absolutely amazing holidays. First, there’s Halloween. It’s the one time a year that an adult can dress up as a superhero and it’s completely acceptable. If you have a child or not, Halloween is the time of year to live your life through the lens of a youngin’. Tap into your inner kid and have costume parties, bob for apples, and eat a bunch of a candy!
Then fall culminates with Thanksgiving. This is one time of the year where the family is almost guaranteed to get together. Enjoy your family. Think about what you love about them. Tell them. Savor the hope that we can continue to create happy memories for the future generations of our family.
Fall is in the air. So is love. Happy fall!
