Ah Halloween. For many, it’s simply another excuse to go out and party. For others, it’s a reason to pretend you’re someone else for a night. Whatever your preference, Halloween is a great time to get creative with your drinks, especially if you’re hosting a house party.
If you really want to wow your guests, this drink will definitely do the trick. While you can certainly serve it in regular cups, why not try and find something that looks like a potion bottle? It’ll keep with the theme. Plus, the herbal taste of the Chartreuse will have your guests wondering if you really did concoct some kind of magical brew.
INGREDIENTS:
- .5 ounces Chartreuse
- .25 ounces lemon juice
- .5 ounces simple syrup
- .5 ounces triple sec
- 2 ounces citrus vodka
- Club soda
MATERIALS:
- Ice
- Shaker
- Strainer
- Potion bottle
DIRECTIONS:
- Fill the shaker with ice.
- Pour the first five ingredients in the shaker then shake vigorously.
- Carefully pour the mix into the potion bottle.
- Top with club soda until ¾ of the way full.
